About
Carla’s artistic practice is rooted in her unique perspective on the world. Her work is inspired by channeled source energy, the rhythms of the moon, and the energetic interplay between the natural world and human-made structures. As an astrologer, oracle reader, and moon magic sorceress, Carla uses the moon’s cycles and astrological transits to guide others toward healing and body-spirit integration. Every month, she facilitates a transformative self-guided healing process during the full moon from her home, offering others the tools to align their energies with the cosmos.
Her personal journey is reflected in her art and her approach to life. Raised in an abusive, hoarding household, Carla left home at a young age, experiencing homelessness and the struggle for survival. These challenges ignited her passion for creative problem-solving and a desire to make a tangible difference in the world. Her diverse career path includes roles in healthcare, natural health, nutrition, spirituality, and education, as well as travel across the United States working at vacation resorts in Utah, New York, and Colorado. It was during these experiences that Carla first encountered the possibility of a life not bound by financial struggle. Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of Utah and the Salt Lake City Library, she found a deep calling to create sustainable housing solutions that would nurture both the earth and its inhabitants.
Carla’s journey into architecture was interrupted by financial barriers, leading her to join the construction industry. In 2018, she joined Ironworkers Local 48, where she has been a passionate advocate for bringing more women into the trade. Over the years, Carla has moved up in the industry, serving in roles such as estimator, project manager, and currently, sales. She continues to build relationships in the construction field, with the long-term vision of creating affordable, community-centered housing that offers individuals a sense of security and freedom—so they can manifest their dreams without the weight of financial instability.
Today, Carla’s art serves as a conduit for healing and empowerment. Through her paintings, she introduces the transformative power of artistic flow, encouraging others from all walks of life to connect with their own creative potential. Carla’s art is not only a reflection of her journey but an invitation to others to experience joy, healing, and a deeper connection to themselves and the world around them. Her hope is that her art brings as much peace and inspiration to others as it does to her own soul.
